How to Freeze Brussel Sprouts

A Gift from Boggiatto Produce. No waste in our home. When you have an abundance freeze the right way! Stay tuned for Brussel sprout Recipes.

Step 1: Wash Brussel sprouts in cold water, cut off ends and cut criss cross at bottom of each of them.


Step 2: Place Brussel sprouts in colander, strain all the water.

Step 3: Line trays with parchment paper and hand dry each Brussel sprout with paper towel. Place on sheet and freeze for one hour.

Step 4: Remove from freezer and put in freezer bags. Marking date, the Brussel sprouts are good up to 1 year.

Step 5: Stay tuned for Brussel sprout recipes!

DO NOT BLANCH BEFORE FREEZING! This was tested and Brussel sprouts retain to much moister and turn mushy.
