Heidi's Tasty Granola

My granola is a healthy and a great alternative to eat if you have a craving for something sweet. Eat anytime of the day, get creative and make a parfait by layering it in between your favorite yogurt and fresh fruit. So delicious and Simple!

Ingredients:

Preheat oven 300 degree

  1. 8 cups rolled Oats ( do not use instant)

  2. 2 cups chopped Walnuts

  3. 1 cup chopped Almonds

  4. 1 cup chopped Pecans

  5. 1 1/2 cups dried Cranberries

  6. 2 cups dried Date Nuggets

  7. 3/4 cup melted virgin Coconut Oil

  8. 1 teaspoon ground Cinnamon

  9. 1 teaspoon Sea Salt

  10. 3/4 cup Maple Syrup

  11. 1 tablespoon Vanilla

  12. 1/2 cup Honey

  13. optional: toasted Coconut Flakes

Directions:

  1. Line 2 baking sheets with foil

  2. In a large bowl mix oats, nuts, cinnamon, salt, coconut oil, maple syrup and vanilla

  3. Reserving cranberries, date nugget and coconut flakes

  4. Spread mixture evenly on baking sheets

  5. Bake for 1 hour tossing mixture every 15 minutes

  6. Add cranberries, date nuggets still reserving coconut flakes

  7. Drizzle honey evenly on mixture and toss, bake another 30 minutes toss in 15 minutes

  8. Turn off oven, keeping granola in oven while cooling completely

  9. Pour in large bowl then add coconut flakes

  10. Store in airtight container, keeps 2 months or longer

  11. Great gift idea any time of the year also perfect party favor!
